The game is great but it's really missing some kind of stats tracking. It would greatly improve replay value since now the game doesn't provide any kind of overall satisfaction from high score or improving win/lose ratio. Look at GB-Wordyl game (for example) - stats overview like in that game would be great. At least these three values should be tracked: games played, games won, the least moves. And the winning screen should at least show how many moves I've made. Now the remaining moves instantly disappear after finishing a level and the winning screen is always the same. Thanks!

The game is almost as awesome as Tetris back then.

Hey, it's Flood-It by LabPixies, I used to play this all the time when it came out on the iOS App Store!

the sort of itch review every designer dreams of…

Man, I would love to see and buy a physical copy of this that works for DMG, maybe using some pixel shading so that all of the colors can be represented? Any plans for that? It would open an additional revenue stream on the game for you.

Thanks! I thought about using simple shapes for retrocompatibility, it has to be shapes that are easy to recognize on the board and there can't be very similar because it would be confusing and difficult to solve. It might be implemented in a near future, please follow me to know any news related to the game.

Completely understand! It’s tricky. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

I've been trying to download the pocket version but it doesn't seem to work. I get an error screen whenever I launch it on the pocket. Does anyone else have this issue?

Now it works with inproved input. Have fun!

Great to see you updated the game and fixed the button press issue. Cool little game. Hope I see it on the Play Store one day. :)

Thank you! I like mobile games, I'm thinking about start making some just for fun.

If you'd like to publish the GB version on Google Play, ping me!

Pretty cool game. What kind of carts are you building up to sell these? I'm interested but was curious if it was your own build or if you were getting the boards from somewhere.

The cartridges are hand-soldered by Niels of Ferrante Crafts. He has previous experience working with other developers to release their homebrew games. He sells flashable carts, or if you preferred to fabricated the PCBs yourself they are available on this repo https://github.com/Gekkio/gb-hardware

Cool game, like the concept. There were no instructions on the controls of the game which took some time to understand, otherwise, the game is simple, fun, and challenging. The game could be more intuitive and dynamic which could be done ahead of time. Would love to check its progress in the near future.

thank you very much for the feedback! (:

I added the controls on this page

That's great!
